New addition brings advanced surgical expertise and improves patient access to specialized foot & ankle care
CHICAGO, Ill., July XX, 2025 — Suburban Orthopaedics is proud to welcome Shoueb Malik, DPM, a fellowship-trained and board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon, to its growing team of specialists. With advanced training in trauma, sports medicine, and complex reconstructive procedures, Dr. Malik expands the practice’s foot and ankle services and enhances patient access to high-quality, personalized care.
Dr. Malik specializes in a wide range of conditions affecting the foot and ankle, including sports-related injuries, fractures, arthritis, diabetic limb salvage, flatfoot and bunion deformities, and total ankle replacements. His approach to care is rooted in evidence-based techniques and individualized treatment plans designed to support both recovery and long-term mobility.

Dr. Malik earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree with honors from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Franciscan Health, where he served as chief resident, followed by a foot and ankle surgical fellowship at OrthoIllinois. His advanced training includes arthroscopic surgery, trauma care, deformity correction, peripheral nerve surgery, and total ankle replacement.
With Dr. Malik’s addition, Suburban Orthopaedics continues to grow its comprehensive musculoskeletal care team to support faster recovery and improved outcomes for patients of all ages.
