Practice strengthens its commitment to patient-centered care through strategic growth and access to advanced surgical technology.
Suburban Orthopaedics, a leader in orthopedic care, announces a new phase of growth in 2026, marked by the addition of two highly specialized surgeons and the adoption of the latest Stryker Mako4 technology.
These investments reflect Suburban Orthopaedics’ ongoing commitment to delivering advanced, expert and patient-focused orthopedic care through the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Expanding Expertise: Spine and Foot & Ankle Surgery
Suburban Orthopaedics has expanded its physicians to meet increasing demand for specialized musculoskeletal care. The addition of Joseph Brindise, D.O., enhances the practice’s ability to treat complex spinal conditions, including degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and deformities.
In parallel, Shoueb Malik, D.P.M., joins the team, expanding surgical and non-surgical treatment options for conditions such as sports injuries, tendon disorders, fractures, arthritis, and chronic foot pain.
Together, these additions strengthen Suburban Orthopaedics’ comprehensive approach ensuring patients receive expert evaluation and treatment across nearly every orthopedic subspecialty under one coordinated system of care.
“Adding a new physician allows us to increase access to high quality, specialty care and provide patients with more options close to home,” said Ankur Chhadia, M.D., Medical Director of Suburban Orthopaedics. “We are focused on both clinical excellence and a shared commitment to patient-centered outcomes.”
Advancing Surgical Precision with Styker Mako4 Technology
Suburban Orthopaedics is now utilizing the newest generation of robotic-assisted joint replacement technology, the Stryker Mako4, at the Ashton Center for Day Surgery.
Mako4 technology enhances total hip and knee replacement procedures through advanced 3D planning and robotic-arm precision. The system allows surgeons to create personalized surgical plans for each patient, improve implant positioning accuracy, and support faster recovery and outpatient care pathways.
By offering Mako4-assisted joint replacement, Suburban Orthopaedics continues to expand outpatient surgical options designed to improve patient comfort, safety, and outcomes.
With strategic investments in offerings, Suburban Orthopaedics is positioning itself as a regional leader in comprehensive orthopedic care.
